Spring Family and Friends Social Event-Petting Zoo and Drum Circle

Spring has officially arrived at Moonlit Acres Retreat Farm, and we have so much to celebrate together! This month's social event invites all animal lovers to our fun-filled Moonlit Acres barnyard bash and ice cream social! You'll have the chance to get up close to some amazing animals at a petting zoo hosted by Creatures Great and Small. And guess what? These aren’t your ordinary barnyard pals! Get ready to meet some truly unique furry friends, including a hairless cat, a cheerful parrot, adorable mini chickens, gentle doves, a playful dog, fluffy rabbits, curious guinea pigs, an enchanting chinchilla, friendly rats and mice, intriguing lizards, slithering snakes, cheerful turtles…and even some exotic bugs! 

But wait, there’s even more! We warmly invite you to join a delightful hour-long drum circle around the cozy warmth of the fire, led by the talented certified Occupational Therapist, Brandon Falk, from Rhythmic Rehab. Not only will you enjoy the lively rhythms, but you’ll also uncover the wonderful benefits of drumming, like boosting your mood, giving your brain a little workout, and helping you feel absolutely amazing!

This is a gathering for family and friends, so feel free to invite up to 2 guests with your registration!  


**From the beginning, our goal has been to provide an accessible community option for everyone, regardless of their funding or financial situation. Although we’ve not been able to make things work with DDA, at this time, we are pleased to announce that our generous community of donors have helped bridge the current gap. This additional support allows us to offer a reduced rate per event, helping guests and families who do not have access to DDA funding stay involved with Moonlit until the DDA situation is resolved.
 
 If you’ve secured funding that you can use toward Moonlit and are willing to share it, we kindly ask that you continue to do so which will make existing funds reach further. Please reach out to Holly@Moonlitacresretreat.org if you have questions about the rate of this event.
